I am a photographer because I love taking photos. I love weddings and seeing couples who love each other unconditionally tie the knot; I also love documenting families as they grow and change, be that with children or pets. Being a married mum of two boys (and a dog mum, too!) I know the importance of capturing these precious milestones in life. Believe me when I say the years pass by so quickly!
Much of my work comes via recommendation, either from previous clients, local wedding suppliers, guests at weddings, or my social media stalkers! I’m genuinely grateful for each and every recommendation.

Bless her, she was amazing, right from early morning when she joined us at Woodland Waters Lodges while we got ready, through the church ceremony and then back at the beautiful lakeside setting of Woodland Waters and the Malden Suite.
We certainly had some giggles, especially when I, MOTB accidently cut my husband’s shoe lace up and Ruth came to the rescue and fixed it. So, not only did she cover the wedding with her photography skills, she mucked in and helped us get organised, while still clicking away in the background!
The highlight of the day has got to be her photos of the groom with his bigger catch of the day, the common carp (20lb) caught for him by his angler chums especially for the occasion, with an annoyed bride watching on (all staged of course)
Ruth made us all feel relaxed with her informal, natural organisation of where, how and what she wanted from us, and I bet she caught some wonderful in the moment shots too!
All in all it was a lovely day and we are so pleased that we chose Ruth, herself a local business, which made it all the more special as we chose local throughout the event, cars, wedding cake and venue. Ruth was brilliant from the start of the planning process to receiving our beautiful pictures from our wedding day back in September 
we saw all her pictures on social media and thought yes this is definitely the one for us! she was lovely and chilled but also had answers to all our questions always staying professional and friendly ! the wedding morning is generally a pretty stressful time but Ruth was a lovely, calming presence to have there which was much appreciated (and was even fetching me kitchen roll while I was shoving my fourth breakfast down my gob haha) all our pictures came out wonderful and she captured moments beautifully. we would highly recommend her for weddings but all other big life events too as she creates a perfect portal back to all those wonderful moments
